Temperature
Temperature controls how creative or predictable a model's responses are:
- Low temperature (0.1 to 0.3): Deterministic and factual. Ideal for reports, code, and analysis.
- Medium (0.4 to 0.7): Balanced. Good for general writing and reasoning.
- High (0.8 to 1.0): Creative, diverse, sometimes unpredictable. Useful for brainstorming or storytelling.
In short, temperature adjusts the randomness of the model's next-word choices.
